MAYMAX SOLAR was founded by our two directors Jake and Dan, who share a mutual interest in providing a more sustainable and affordable future. Jake and Dan worked alongside each other for multiple years as Electrical Engineers and joined forces to create MAYMAX SOLAR with the aim of creating a company that is big enough to cope with larger jobs but small enough care about its clients.

Jake is an apprentice trained electrician with over 12 years experience. He began his career working within social housing and council owned buildings. Shortly after qualifying, he began working for himself and has since carried out Electrical design, installation and testing in Domestic and Commercial properties throughout the South East. Alongside Electrical installation work, Jake has spent time as an electrical engineer and a quality supervisor for NICEIC registered companies.

Dan started his working life in the military, serving in the Royal Marines before making a U-turn on his career and become a mechanical and electrical engineer. This role involved fault finding, preventative maintenance and carrying out electrical repairs. During this time Dan has also worked within the building industry and gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. Dan continued to study and took the relevant qualifications to become an electrical installer giving him a solid understanding of electrical systems and can always find a solution to a problem.
